What we were asked to do
We were approached by Gareth Warland and Noelle Rodrigues from All My Friends to produce a new brand identity for their London based film-making collective. It was important for the identity to communicate the spirit of collaboration and individual talents / personalities found within the collective.
We developed a two-part identity. This consisted of a bespoke, hand crafted element and a utilitarian functional grid. The bespoke element is represented by three separate logos applied using a rubber stamp. The idea being that there is not one constant marque but a variety of logos which can be applied in different ways. The imperfections of the rubber stamp contrast with the strict, form-like text. This allowed us to communicate the individual personalities within the collective whilst creating a uniform and crisp branded layout.
What we designed
The identity was applied to a suite of stationery and a content managed website. This was the primary tool for the client to showcase latest projects. It also functioned as a platform for the collective to share a communal workflow. View the website: www.allmyfriendscollective.com
