What we were asked to do
We collaborated with Sydney based Eskimo on this pro bono project. The brief was to design the commincation materials for the annual Sydney Sick Children's Foundation Gold Dinner. Our objective was to create an identity which celebrated Sydney's most luxurious fundraising event without sidelining or trivialising it's cause. Visit the Eskimo website: www.eskimodesign.com.au
As Sydney's most luxurious fundraising event we wanted to convey a sense of grandeur and excitement whilst avoiding any obvious clichés. To achieve this we needed to created a visual metaphor something which communicated all aspects of the event. To this end we shot a crystal chandelier and created a number of abstracted visuals, symbolising light and a touch of glamour.
What we designed
We applied these images to a variety of promotional materials including event invitations, posters and event programme booklet.
